Dear Fellow Shih Tzu Lover,Thank you for your interest in this wonderful breed, and your special interest in A Shih Tzu FurU.
The Shih Tzu dog originated in the orient, where they were the prize protectors of temples and palaces. Shih Tzu are extremely loving and adaptable; an intelligent companion and protector with a big dog personality in a small, toy body.

We have been breeding quality dogs for over 35 years and test dogs in our breeding program for any genetic disorders prevalent in the breed, and at this time there are many serious problems these beautiful little dogs face. Kidney, hip and eye problems, as well as blood clotting disease (VWF) are common. Often these disorders can be physically debilitating or fatal for the dog, and emotionally devastating for the family.
We breed only tested dogs, who are fine examples of the breed and guarantee our puppies. We put tremendous energy and attention into your new friend's early development...this makes he/she very special to us, and to you!!!
